The Cahaba Youth Foundation was founded in December of 1985 supporting youth  attending institutions of higher learning in Alabama focusing on agrarian studies providing a stipend for books and supplies. 

Cahaba Youth Foundation is a nonprofit tax exempt organization located in Repton, Alabama. Donations to Cahaba Youth Foundation are tax deductible. The organization has been in operation for over 35 years, making it older than any other nonprofits in the state. Seeing a need for an energetic, nonprofit working to support youth, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions to meet our mission. 

Cahaba Youth Foundation is dedicated to support youth in their effort to excel in their environment and provide opportunities for them to grow in knowledge and experience as leaders and mentors. 

The foundation fosters activities leading to the education of youth in the United States of America; to educate them through participation in programs developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness while affording service to the community and providing mentorship to build future leaders. 

The foundation assists in providing an impetus enabling dreams to be achieved and opportunities to youth which might have never been provided. Opening an opportunity to share in fellowship and provide service while gaining useful skills creates a youth experience that can create better lives, responsible citizens and future leaders.
